Children and Youth Church
Children and Youth Church is held online Sundays at noon.
Children’s Choir
The Children’s Choir meets on Thursdays from 6:15 to 7:00 pm. The Children’s Choir sings on the 4th Sunday. The Thursday after the 4th Sunday, there is no rehearsal. The Children’s Choir is on break in July and August. The Children’s choir accepts children ages 5 years old until graduation from elementary school. Dan Williams has directed the Children’s Choir for more than 30 years. The contact persons are Betty Matthews and Sharon Fearon.
Junior Ushers
The Junior Ushers are made up of members from 1st graders to seniors in High School. They meet on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 10:30 am during the school year. They’re on duty every 2nd Sunday. The Junior Ushers go on break in July and August. Deacon Ronyl Juleau is the Patron and Tracy Shannonhouse is the Matron.
Youth Choir
The Youth Choir is comprised of Middle, Junior and High School students. The Youth Choir sings every 4th Sunday. The Youth Choir has rehearsal on Thursday evenings at 6:15 pm. Elder Colon Haywood, Jr. is the Youth Choir Director.
Youth Praise Dancers
Psalms 149: 3 “Let them praise Him with dancing.”
The Praise Dance Ministries meet most Thursdays at 7:00 pm under the direction of choreographers Tarin Evans and Cynthia Maignan. The participants learn Liturgical Praise dancing; they use movements to song to worship God. There are two groups of dancers, “Genesis” ranging in age from 5-10 and “3D” for ages 11 and above.
Youth Ministry
The Youth Ministry is geared towards Middle and High School students. They meet the 2nd Friday of the month. They also occasionally have another event on the 4th Friday of the month. Dr. Tabitha Fortt is the contact person.
