Minister Jenice Jeter

Minister Jenice Jeter graduated from Lehman College, Bronx, New York in 1996 where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Literary English and a minor in Secondary Education. She was a magna cum laude graduate of Metropolitan College (formerly known as Audrey Cohen College) in New York in 1999 where she was the recipient of a Master of Science Degree in Organizational Management and Human Services. During this period she developed an outreach program designed to bridge the gap between the A + E Networks and its neighbors The New Providence Women’s Shelter. Minister Jeter is currently pursuing her second Masters degree at New York Theological Seminary School (NYTS).

Minister Jeter began her employment at A+E Networks in the Advertising Sales Department. Her employment at A+E Networks Traffic Department in Stamford, Ct was initiated in March of 2001 after the department relocated from New York to Stamford. Throughout the years, Minister Jeter has worked in the following divisions of the company: the A&E Channel, FYI (formerly the Biography Channel), Lifetime Movie Network and History Channel. She is also a member of A+E Network’s Corporate Social Responsibility Task Force and is CSR’s Stamford Office contact person. Ms. Jeter’s promotion to the position of Administrator, Broadcast Operations became effective on April 17, 2016.

Minister  Jeter has shared her skills and abilities through altruistic service in numerous capacities within the community. Since 2013 she has served as a guest lecturer at Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York. She also serves on the Boys and Girls Club of Stamford (BGCS) Board of Directors (since 2008) and is a member of the Stamford Branch of the NAACP. She is a past President of the BGCS Parent Association and a member of NAMIC (the National Association of Multi- Ethnicity Communications), the Enlighten the Minds Book Club of Stamford, and the Stamford Board of Education Parent Advisory Council.

Minister Jeter became a member of Union Baptist Church in 2001. She previously served as Church Clerk and has been a longstanding member of the Prison Ministry, the Women’s Ministry and the UBC Gospel Choir. She has additionally rendered service as an instructor in Vacation Bible School and Women’s Bible Study classes. Minister Jeter received her license to preach in September of 2015.

Minister Jeter’s favorite scripture is referenced in 2 Corinthians 12:9. And He said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities; that the power of Christ may rest upon me”.
